We’ll go behind the “touristy spots”, journey off the beaten path & perhaps even stay in an amazing castle hotel! And let us not forget a couple days jumping into Salzburg, Austria to see where the Sound of Music took place and walk the steps of the famous scene from the movie.

Here's an Overview of our Small Group Tour:
Heidelberg- We will start in the oldest University town in Germany: Heidelberg. This romantic city tour will start with walking the hauptstrasse and then an exciting funicular ride up to the top of the hillside to a wonderful stop at the famous Heidelberg Castle.
Speyer- Enjoy this wonderful town located on the left bank of the Rhine River. It is recognized as the largest surviving Romanesque church in Europe. Speyer's Cathedral owes its existence to the Salian emperor, Conrad II. After his election, he pursued the ambitious goal of building the largest church of his time.
German Wine Road Tour-Visit beautiful hamlets, see some of Germany’s most spectacular castles & enjoy the gorgeous sceneries.
Rothenburg ob der Tauber- “Romantic Road”, we will walk the medieval town center, see the town hall & market. Walk through a traditional German Christmas Store. Lunch in Rothenburg (on your own) then off to the amazing, quaint town of Fussen.
Neuschwanstein Castle- Discover the castle inspired & ultimately mimicked by Walt Disney. We’ll have an English guided tour through this magically, grand castle. Enjoy a wonderful picnic lunch at the foot of the Castle.
Garmisch- We’ll take a cable car ride up to the majestic Alps for spectacular, panoramic views.
Munich- “OKTOBERFEST!” But first, a stop into the famous “Hofbrauhaus” for a beer and then lunch locally, then we hit the Famous beer hall festivities for the biggest party on the planet. Visit different beer tents operated by different breweries, sing along to Oomph-Pa-Pa bands, perhaps jump on a few amusement park rides, enjoy the culture, lederhosen & dirndls of Bavaria & of course feast on the yummy pretzels, grilled chicken & so much more. Enjoy beer and snacks in one of the many beer tents. Time to visit Oktoberfest on your own.
Another day exploring Munich’s highlights, we will tour Mary’s Square with the town hall, the Glockenspiel & the Munich Cathedral.
Salzburg- We will visit Salzburg where we’ll visit the famous cathedral, fortress Hohensalzberg, follow Mozart’s footsteps or the ever-popular choice of visiting some famous “Sound of Music” sites!
Lake Konigsee- Scenic boat ride on Lake Konigsee is a must see on our trip. We’ll take time to visit historic Bertesgarten Salt mines while enjoying a panoramic, breathtaking Alpine view.
Nurnberg & Wurzburg- Our tour will include Nurnberg & Wurzburg day trips to see the old towns & royal residence in Wurzburg.
Rudesheim to Koblenz- We’ll take a Rhine Valley River Tour! Rudesheim to Koblenz is said to be the most scenic & beautiful portion of the Rhine. You’ll hop on a River Boat Cruise where we will enjoy a 2 ½ hour ride along the amazing river. You’ll see so many medieval castles perched on the romantic countryside hills!
An authentic castle hotel stay may be a possible option on our Germany Dream Vacation (depending upon how many people sign up for our small group tour).

COSTS: $5,995 per person (based upon double occupancy) for up to 10 Travelers. Single room add on- $500 per person. A deposit of $600 is due at the time of booking. Final payment is due 90 days prior to travel.
